Sepehr zijn constructie design (winterdesign 2012) is nu te zien in Blü magazine.

Sylvie van der Vaart: “Ik was meteen razend enthousiast toen de programmamakers mij benaderden voor ‘The Face’. Het is geen groot geheim dat ik een enorme passie heb voor fashion en beauty. Dit format staat dus zo dicht bij me dat ik het dolgraag wil doen. Extra leuk is dat het ook binnen de RTL-familie is, net als de programma’s die ik in Duitsland presenteer.”

Paul Cormont, zenderdirecteur RTL 5: “Sylvie van der Vaart was voor RTL 5 al direct dé aangewezen persoon om het gezicht van dit nieuwe programma te worden. We zijn zeer vereerd dat zij haar agenda heeft vrijgemaakt om zich helemaal op ‘The Face’ te storten. Deze vakvrouw heeft niet alleen veel ervaring in het presentatievak, maar weet ook nog eens hoe de modellenwereld in elkaar steekt.”

In ‘The Face’ gaan ervaren modellen de strijd aan om de absolute wereldtop te bereiken en een carrière als Doutzen Kroes en Mark Vanderloo te evenaren. De vrouwelijke en mannelijke modellen worden begeleid door een ervaren team van coaches en doen wekelijks echte opdrachten, zoals castings, runwayshows, videoclips en fotoshoots. Het model met de grootste potentie voor een internationale carrière wint. De namen van de coaches worden binnenkort door RTL 5 bekendgemaakt.

Op woensdag 11 April opende Sepehr zijn eerste schilderijen expositie in het Rabobank gebouw aan de Dam in Amsterdam. Deze feestelijke opening werd ingeluid met een fantastische modeshow in het historische bank gebouw.

Aanwezigen waren vrienden, familie en zakenrelaties van de bank.

Last night, young Dutch fashion designer Sepehr Maghsoudi presented his new winter

collection 2012/2013 ‘Running through walls’ in the Kunstenhuis in Amsterdam.

With an eye for female curves and the use of handwork and exceptional material, such
as glass and ceramics, the collection is typically Sepehr. During a theatrical show,
which was accompanied by live opera music, the designer presented his super feminine
creations, such as long gowns of Italian silk in intense colours (emerald green,
dark blue and black), trimmed with fur, leather or lace. Each of his creations are
romantic, but reveal a dark edge.
The manner in which the designer applies glass in his new collection is highly
sophisticated and clearly refers to his Persian roots. The material emanates both a
powerful as well as a vulnerable quality. It represents the risk Sepehr dares to
take: ‘Never give up, but fight for your position’ is the motto behind this
collection. This makes ‘Running Through Walls’ a collection with a soul.

Sepehr Maghsoudi (29) made his breakthrough in 2010 after appearing on the TV series
‘Project Catwalk’ and was awarded the first Arnhem Fashion Award for Best Designer.
He made his worldwide debut in the successful TV programme MTV Sweet 16 with 150
million viewers in 49 countries.

Sepehr Maghsoudi toont vechtlust met collectie ‘Running Throug Walls’

De jonge Nederlandse modeontwerper Sepehr Maghsoudi presenteert vrijdag 27 januari in het Kunstenhuis op het Amsterdamse Westergasfabriekterrein zijn nieuwste  wintercollectie 2012/2013 ‘Running Through Walls’ met een expositie tijdens de Amsterdam Fashion Week.

De expositie volgt na zijn show, op donderdag 26 januari, die uitsluitend toegankelijk is voor pers en genodigden.

De collectie is typisch Sepehr met veel oog voor vrouwelijke lijnen. Uit de collectie spreekt vechtlust. HIER NOG IETS OVER INSPIRATIE? De collectie is geïnspireerd op Sepehr’s doorzettingsvermogen. Waar andere stoppen gaat hij door, niets houd hem tegen. Deze kracht vloeit door in zijn collectie.

De expositie in het Kunstenhuis aan de Polonceaukade 26-28 is voor iedereen toegankelijk en op vrijdag 27 januari te bezoeken van 15 tot 20 uur.

Sepehr Maghsoudi (29) brak in 2010 door na zijn deelname aan het televisieprogramma ‘Project Catwalk’ en kreeg in 2011 de eerste Arnhemse Fashion Award voor Beste Designer.
